Lego Prince of Persia sets is a new theme based Lego set that is based on the film of the same name. It will be released this month and the first sets will replicate various scenes of the movie.

There will also be some new Lego animals such as camels and ostriches. In the beginning there will be 5 different sets released. These new sets will have an increase in minifigures also. The reason for this is because of the trend of these figures becoming collector’s items. These sets will have at least 3 minifigures and can be ordered online from various websites and on some auction sites one will be able to get lightly used sets also.

Some of the themes that the new Lego prince of Persia will come with are the Hassasins hideout or desert attack, the ostrich race, fight for the dagger, quest against time and the battle of Alamut. The hassasins hideout will feature four minifigures such as the double blade hassasin, porcupine hassasin, Dastan and skeleton. This set will contain 57 pieces. This set will also contain a dungeon full of weapons and booty. The ostrich race will contain a race track to race the ostrich’s. There will be a lever to open the gates and also a weapons rack to hold spears. Fight for the dagger will include a market place and a stair case to a tower. This one will come with four minifigures such as Asoka, princess Tamina, Dastan and a market seller.

Quest against time will basically be a room where Dastan must run through various obstacles and dangers. This one will also include 4 minifigures such as princess Tamina, Nizam a hassasin leader and of course Dastan. This one will be one of the biggest sets containing 506 pieces! This set will also have a lot of equipment such as spinning saw blades, swinging swords, a tree trunk with spikes pillars and exploding columns. The battle of Alamut will be the biggest set, with its 822 pieces! There will be 7 minifigures such as Dastan, Seso, Niza, scimitar Hassasin, razor glove hassasin and 2 soldiers. The theme of this set will be Alamut castle. Lego price of Persia will be one first Lego sets based on historical themes.
